New British Pike Claim Accepted!

Lloyd Watson announced on social media this morning that his claim for the British Record pike has been accepted by the British Record Fish Committee.

The claim was made for 47lb 6oz, but the Committee decided to keep the original claimed weight of 47lb 5oz since the scales used to test the fish were weighing 1oz light. 

Lloyd expressed his gratitude towards the pike community for their overwhelming support, especially since the catch broke the previous record of 46lb 13oz, held by Roy Lewis from Llandegfedd since 1992. Congrats Lloyd!
