Possible New British Record Pike!

Predator angler Lloyd Watson has just landed an incredible-sized pike at a whopping 47lb 5oz!

Lloyd who was fishing with good friend Nick Skirrow at Chew Valley managed to snag the beast just today possibly beating the current record which has stood for 27 years! Lloyd said, “I don’t think I’ll ever beat this moment in my life, surely I’ll wake up soon”.

We’re waiting to find out if the Pike has been submitted to the British Record Fish Committee for an official record but is claimed to have been weighed on numerous sets of scales and witnessed by other anglers to be sure of its accurate weight.

A record or not we’ll have to wait and see, but a massive congratulations to Lloyd!
