Kuore enters the scene with performance-first approach

A new name has entered the lure fishing world, but it’s one that’s been years in the making. Kuore Fishing, founded by Finnish angler Lassi Leppinen, has officially launched with a clear focus: building lures that simply catch more fish.

The idea behind Kuore goes back to his early days fishing the lakes of Eastern Finland. Despite the huge range of lures already available, he found none fully delivered what he needed in real conditions. That gap is what pushed him to start designing his own.

What began as personal experimentation gradually turned into something more serious. Early prototypes were tested relentlessly, often reworked dozens of times, with as many as 50 different moulds trialled just to perfect a single lure shape. It’s a level of development that reflects the brand’s core idea – performance first, everything else second.

The current range is built with key predator species in mind, particularly perch, zander and pike. Each lure is designed to work across different seasons and conditions, whether that’s cold water, changing pressure, or varying retrieve speeds.

Early models highlight a clear direction: controlled action, strong visibility and consistency rather than overcomplication. The goal isn’t to reinvent fishing lures, but to make ones that reliably perform when it matters.

Visually, Kuore leans into a clean Scandinavian aesthetic, but the focus stays firmly on function. Everything about the brand points back to its origins – long days on the water, identifying problems and solving them properly.

It’s still early days, but Kuore Fishing arrives with a credible story behind it. Not just a launch, but the end result of years spent quietly building something that works.
