ProFishingUK Perch League 2026 Is Officially Underway!
The ProFishingUK Perch League 2026 is officially underway, and organisers have confirmed that registration has now closed, marking another major milestone for what has become the UK’s largest online perch fishing competition.

Following the huge success of last year’s event—which attracted over 110 anglers and became the biggest online perch competition ever held in the UK the 2026 league has once again captured the attention of the angling community. Designed as a friendly yet competitive online event, the league welcomes anglers of all abilities, from those chasing their very first perch to seasoned competitors targeting personal bests.
Run as a 100% non-profit competition, all entry fees collected go directly back into the event through prizes, junior rewards, and application costs. Adult entry was set at £13, while participants under 16 were able to enter completely free, helping to encourage junior participation and grassroots angling.
The competition officially starts on 17 January 2026 at 2:00am and runs until 15 March 2026 at 1:00am, with the winner announced on 16 March 2026. Anglers compete by submitting catches via the Scores Jungle app, which requires fish to be photographed live through the app to ensure fair play. The overall winner will be determined by the combined length of their best 10 perch, with additional awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and the biggest fish of the competition.
Fishing is bank-only, using spinning methods and artificial lures, and catches can be recorded anywhere in the United Kingdom, provided participants are UK residents. There is no minimum fish size, and measurements are rounded up in favour of the angler. Strict measuring rules apply, ensuring consistency and transparency across all entries.
The league also features a dedicated junior mini-competition, with rewards available to juniors who catch at least five perch. In addition, any perch measuring 45cm or more caught on ProFishingUK lures will earn extra rewards, provided proof is submitted.
With registration now closed as of 16 January 2026 at 8:00pm, the final list of participants is set and published. Organisers have expressed huge appreciation for the support shown by the angling community and hinted at exciting prizes—including a high-end JDM rod added to the winner’s prize pool if participation exceeded 100 anglers.
Being self-confessed perch-addicts, we’re personally looking forward to seeing the results for this competition and some epic perch photos.
