Tidal Trent Zander Reward for Ash Morton

One of the more impressive catches of recent times is the Zander caught by Ash Moreton, a passionate and skilled predator enthusiast.

Ash was fishing in the tidal Trent prior to the floods, and despite the challenging conditions, he managed to have some great success. Using small roach dead baits, he persevered through an incredibly bleak day, with air temperatures plummeting to as low as minus figures.

However, his persistence paid off, and he was rewarded with not one, but two Zanders, one of which weighed an impressive 13lb 11oz. In addition to these, he also managed to catch a stunning double-figure Pike.
