ProFishingUK Predator League 2024

ProFishingUK has announced that there are only 2 days remaining to register for their highly anticipated annual event, the ProFishingUK Predator League 2024. This friendly online competition invites anglers from across the United Kingdom to compete in an exciting challenge focusing on predator fish, with a specific scoring system designed to test both skill and patience.

The competition kicks off on November 1, 2024, at 3 AM, and will run until December 10, 2024, concluding at 11 PM. Entrants will compete for awards based on the combined length of five Perch and one Pike, which will determine the winners. ProFishingUK’s dedicated scoring application, Scores Jungle, will be used to maintain transparency and ensure fair play throughout the event.

Registration Details and Competition Fees

A registration fee of £13 allows anglers to secure their spot in the league. Once payment is confirmed, participants will be given access to join the competition within the Scores Jungle app and will receive an official confirmation email. Juniors under the age of 16 can enter free of charge, provided they contact ProFishingUK directly with the junior’s name.

Registration remains open until October 30, 2024. After this date, no additional participants will be admitted.

Important Rules and Requirements

ProFishingUK has set clear guidelines for participants:

1. Fish Measurement: All fish must be measured using a tape measure with a stopper, placed visibly on a mat if possible. Measurements will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
2. Catch Verification: Participants are required to take fish photos through the Scores Jungle app to prevent unauthorized alterations.
3. Location and Eligibility: Only anglers residing in the United Kingdom may participate, and all fishing must be conducted from the bank, although the use of waders is permitted.
4. Fishing Techniques: Only spinning and artificial lures are permitted. Fly fishing is not allowed.
5. Youth Participation: Juniors will have a dedicated mini-competition within the ProFishingUK Chub League 2024. To qualify, they must catch at least one Perch and one Pike. Additionally, significant catches using ProFishingUK lures may earn special rewards.

Awards and Recognition

The league will recognize the top three anglers, as well as the competitor with the largest fish, at the end of the tournament on December 12, 2024. ProFishingUK has announced that all fees collected will go toward the rewards, junior prizes, and application fees, ensuring participants benefit directly from their contributions.
