Main Event
🏆 Champion: Adam Kolodziej
Adam Kolodziej emerged as the overall winner with a total length of 318 cm, a score achieved with an exceptional performance. Adam’s final tally included five perch measuring 214 cm combined and a standout 104 cm pike. His consistency and skill throughout the competition earned him the top spot and a well-deserved round of applause.
🥈 Second Place: Marius Adrian Popescu
Marius Adrian Popescu put up a fierce fight, finishing just 1 cm behind the leader with a total of 317 cm. His catches included five perch totaling 212 cm and the largest pike of the competition at 105 cm. Marius’s performance was nothing short of outstanding, keeping the pressure on right until the final moment.
🥉 Third Place: Trevor Gunning
Claiming third place was Trevor Gunning, who delivered a total of 316 cm, including the largest perch total of the competition at 221 cm and a 95 cm pike. While a slight upgrade on his pike might have secured him the title, Trevor’s performance was nonetheless exceptional.
Juniors Division
🌟 Champion: Will Birch
In the Juniors Division, all eyes were on Will Birch, who dominated with a total of 308 cm. Incredibly, Will also finished 6th overall in the main competition, going head-to-head with some of the UK’s most skilled anglers. His highlights included the largest perch of the competition at 48 cm and a superb 98 cm pike. At just 15 years old, Will’s performance marks him as one to watch for the future.
🥈 Second Place: Kaan Mustafa
Newcomer Kaan Mustafa secured second place with an impressive 256 cm, combining five perch and one pike. Kaan’s debut performance was nothing short of remarkable, and his future in competitive angling looks incredibly bright.
🥉 Third Place: Ivan Phillips
Rounding out the Juniors podium was Ivan Phillips, who earned 122 cm through hard work and determination. Ivan’s dedication to the sport shone through, and his efforts deserve recognition.
