Elite Pro League Round 3 at Canary Wharf
The third round of the Elite Pro League delivered exactly what was promised—a grueling test for competitors at the notoriously challenging Canary Wharf. With difficult conditions and elusive fish, the anglers had to dig deep, but ultimately, it was reigning World Champion and Team England representative Nick Wilson who emerged victorious.

Wilson narrowly edged out saltwater specialist Will Pender, who put in a strong performance but fell just short of the top spot. Rounding out the podium in third place was Lucky John’s seasoned angler, Dave Mutton, who has started the season in impressive form and was one of the fortunate few to land a fish in this demanding round.
Final Standings:
🥇 Nick Wilson
🥈 Will Pender
🥉 Dave Mutton
The vast expanse of Canary Wharf provided plenty of hiding places for the fish, making for an incredibly tough session reminiscent of the second day of an international competition, where the challenge only intensifies. Despite the struggle, the determination and perseverance of all anglers were evident, proving why this league continues to be one of the most respected in the sport.

A special thank you goes to Ben Goor, who presented the winners with a beautifully handcrafted memento—a fitting tribute to their efforts in such a demanding round.
With this intense leg now behind them, all eyes turn to the next battleground: the New Junction Canal. Expectations are high for a more productive session, where competitors hope to see plenty of action and possibly a few surprise giants making an appearance. Stay tuned!
