Elite Pro League 2025: Grand Union Delivers Tight Battle in Round Two at Hatton

Round two of the Elite Pro League 2025 saw some of the UK’s finest anglers take on the unpredictable stretch of the Grand Union Canal at Hatton. With practice results suggesting that 200cm would be the benchmark for a top-three finish, the competition certainly lived up to expectations.

Taking the win was Luke Jordan, who managed an impressive 203cm, narrowly edging out Kevin Cox, who finished just 3cm behind in second place. Dale Hunter looked set for victory after leading for most of the match but struggled in the final hour, settling for third place.

Just missing out on the top three was Ian Whittaker, who delivered a brilliant light-game performance to amass 172cm. In fifth place was the ever-consistent Artur Nowak, with World Champion Nick Wilson securing sixth. Hayden Seabrook, a newcomer to the league, claimed seventh place, finishing just ahead of experienced competition angler Justin Ashby.

The final two vital points went to Allan Arthey and Harry Churchill, with Churchill’s single point proving crucial in keeping him inside the top ten in the overall Elite Pro League 2025 standings.

With another round of superb angling in the books, all eyes now turn to what promises to be the most exciting and challenging leg of the Elite Pro League 2025Canary Wharf on March 29th.
