Dave Mower with a tank of a reservoir perch whilst Pike fishing

Dave Mower, the Events Manager of Lure Anglers Society, had an incredible catch on a UK reservoir. Although he was targeting pike with lures, Dave managed to land a huge perch that he described as a “tank”. 

The battle between Dave and the fish was intense, with the perch putting up a wild fight for about 100 yards. Despite the challenge, Dave was able to reel in the big catch. After measuring the perch, which reached an impressive length of 48cm, Dave took a photo before carefully releasing it back into the reservoir.
